A Business-like approach to Charity!

Developers at Gravitas have worked together with staff and management at SPARC to design the Account Manager which will allow this service to progress towards a ‘Self Directed Support’ ethos to incorporate Personal Budgets as a funding stream. Funding for charitable organisations is highly unstable in the current economic climate and the Road to Personal Budgets is still far from being clear. This system however will allow them to cost services and see just where they need to improve or consolidate their provision to bring the greatest benefit.

CORS has launched InTheCloud!

We are pleased to announce that the CORSInTheCloud system has replaced all static systems and is now running live. CORS measures outcomes for intervention services in the not for profit sector. These services often run without an office base so it was important that the system could be accessed at any time in any place. As long as you have a WiFi connection CORSInTheCloud is ready and waiting for you

Stockport Day Centre participates in Outcomes Pilot as a result of implementing CORS

Stockport Council and Pennine Trust are including Stockport Day Centre in their non-NHS Outcome Indicators Framework trial to establish baseline profile data, with CORS recording and reporting mechanisms as the key data tool.

CORS is already structured to collect Outcome Indicators based on Activities attended by Service Users. Gravitas is now working closely with Stockport Day Centre , Stockport Council and Pennine Trust to ensure that the measurement and reporting of these Indicators fall in line with the Outcomes Framework.

Starting from April 1st 2010, monitoring Service Users through the CORS review system will provide baseline data and regular follow ups to measure the performance of both the Day Centre and Individual Service Users.

CORS goes live at Stockport Day Centre

Staff at Stockport day centre are delighted to have a simple method of storing and retrieving daily records and events. As a small charity they were not in a position to purchase a bespoke tool they needed to meet new recording requirements, so Gravitas were happy to help.

We’ve wanted something like this for years, I didn’t think we would ever get it :so easy to use; it will make such a difference’ said one staff member.

Their delight will only be surpassed when they realise just how easy it is to provide funder reports of Intervention Histories required at the end of each quarter!

Staring into the answer to business problems

Companies are losing out by not using their computer systems effectively, according to Gravitas, a Stockport-based company that uses IT skills to solve business problems. The company firmly believes that most companies are not benefiting as they could from even the most common tools available to them. As a result they spend too much time, effort and money on often repetitive tasks when they could streamline the way they do business, and transform the day-to-day data they gather into information that could help drive productivity and profitability.
